Open the Sidebar

In Google Sheets, go to Extensions → MenuGauge AI → Open sidebar. The Quick Start screen appears automatically on first launch.

Can't find MenuGauge AI in Google Sheets?

Follow these 3 steps to open the sidebar and reach Quick Start.

Open Google Sheets Open any spreadsheet in Google Sheets — not an .xlsx file.

Extensions → MenuGauge AI → Open sidebar Click the Extensions menu at the top, then select MenuGauge AI.

In Quick Start, choose one New here? → Insert sample & analyze.
Using the official template? → Analyze from template (won't overwrite your data).

Still can't see it?

  • Extensions menu is missing — The file may be in Microsoft Office format (.xlsx). Go to File → Save as Google Sheets to convert it, then try again.
  • MenuGauge AI doesn't appear under Extensions — Refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R), then check again.
  • Using the official template — Do not rename or delete the Start Here tab. Quick Start reads from it.
